Bayou Bowl was built in 1982 on a former pecan orchard. It was open for operation in September of 1983. Operated by various people, Bayou Bowl has now had the same owner since 1987. In those years, this bowling alley has accomplished many goals.
In June 2019, Bayou Bowl added 5 BUMPER CARS inside the center, which has already proven to highlight EVERYONE’S visit at our center!
In May 2016, Brunswick Sync automatic scoring was installed to improve our guests bowling experience. With Brunswick’s constant updating, the graphics are ALWAYS a hit!
In 2013, Bowlers Ed was introduced to schools throughout the community by Bayou Bowl. Our goal was to get children more active during the day and involve them in a fun sport. Also we featured a spot on “Good Morning Ark-la-miss” and YouTube in regards to Bowlers Ed.
Also in 2013 our bowling alley was treated with special guests from “Duck Dynasty”. Bayou Bowl was aired on season 3 episode 10 and our guests were Miss Kay and her grandchildren.
